Ashley Lemke from Sibley Honored at Buena Vista Unversity

Ashley Lemke, a senior communications studies major from Sibley , was recently honored at Buena Vista University's student recognition event.

Lemke received the following recognition:

Lemke participated in The Otteman Student Research & Internship. Every year at BVU students have amazing opportunities to complete internships that help prepare them for their careers, do significant research in their discipline and travel nationally and internationally. Many of our students awarded gift assistance to help assure they could pursue these opportunities. This support is made available through the generous contributions of alumni and friends. She was also elected to the Student Senate by the student body to represent the student voice on campus committees, consider concerns of the student body and assign student organizations' financial allocations.
