Aubrey Anderson Works Super Bowl LII

Buena Vista University (BVU) student Aubrey Anderson, a junior communication studies major from Worthington, Minn., had the opportunity of a lifetime working Super Bowl LII at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis on Feb. 4.

Anderson was one of three BVU students chosen for this year's Game Day Internship Program, which was made possible through an alumni partnership that was established in 2009. Jeff Anderson, who is the executive director of communications for the Vikings and a 2003 BVU graduate, was instrumental in starting the program between regional colleges and the Minnesota Vikings Public Relations Department. The program has created internship opportunities for over 20 BVU students since its inception.

Game Day interns assist with various activities during the fall football season that include arranging press boxes, delivering game information to media, and recording player and coach interviews.
