Chancellor Johnson to Appear in Buena Vista University Theatre Production of "Blithe Spirit"

2015 Oct 13

The Buena Vista University (BVU) theatre department is presenting "Blithe Spirit" by Noel Coward, Nov. 4-7 at 7:30 p.m. in Anderson Auditorium on the BVU campus.

Chancellor Johnson from Nashua is a member of the cast, playing the role of Dr. Bradman. Johnson is a freshman chemistry major at BVU.

"Blithe Spirit" is about Charles Condomine, an author who is re-married, but is haunted (literally) by the ghost of his very clever and insistent late wife, Elvira, who haunts the hapless Charles into perpetuity after being called up by a medium: Madame Arcati.

Tickets for the play can be reserved online at www.bvu.edu/tickets or by calling the BVU Theatre Hotline at 712.749.2211. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students and senior citizens and may be picked up at the door before the performance.
