Derek Simonsen from Quimby Honored at Buena Vista Unversity

Derek Simonsen, a senior biology major from Quimby , was recently honored at Buena Vista University's student recognition event.

Simonsen received the following recognition:

Simonsen received an Academic Excellence Award as a third year student. This Academic Excellence Award is given to students on the Storm Lake campus whose cumulative GPA is 3.75 or greater, representing approximately the top 10% of each class.
