Elizabeth Kim Awarded Fellowship

Elizabeth Kim, a Buena Vista University senior biology and Spanish major from Fairmont, Minn. , was awarded a National Science Foundation Research Experience for Undergraduate Fellowship at Sanford Health in Sioux Falls, S.D.

Kim was awarded this competitive fellowship for the second summer in a row. During the fellowship, Kim will study genetic and molecular causes of the pediatric disorder primary ciliary dyskinesia in the laboratory of Dr. Lance Lee.
