Halie Larsen from Storm Lake Honored at Buena Vista Unversity

Halie Larsen , a biology major from Storm Lake , was honored at Buena Vista University's annual Student Recognition Dinner on April 29.

Larsen received the following recognition:

Larsen received the Stine Fellowship Award which is given annually to exceptional students to enhance their educational and professional development opportunities. Mr. Harry Stine, a longtime friend of the university, generously established this endowment in 2014 to promote creative opportunities for science students.
