Justin Klein Performs with the Buena Vista University Concert Band

Justin Klein, a junior from Hartley, majoring in media studies, is a member of the Buena Vista University Concert Band which recently presented their winter concert in Schaller Memorial Chapel on the BVU campus.

A variety of classic and contemporary works were performed. The featured guest soloist was clarinetist Ben Baron, a native of Sioux City, who is the principal clarinetist of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Americas. He has also served as guest principal with numerous orchestras in and around New York City.

The concert band is directed by Jerry Bertrand, assistant professor of music at Buena Vista University.
