Kelsey Struck Accepted to 2014 Iowa Collegiate Honor Band

Three Buena Vista University band members have been selected to participate in the 21st Annual Iowa Collegiate Honor Band, including Kelsey Struck from Storm Lake. Struck was selected for French horn and is a junior instrumental music education (K-12) major at Buena Vista University.

This year marks Buena Vista University's 16th year with students participating in the honor band.

The honor band will rehearse on Nov. 21 at the Josephine Tope Community Auditorium in Nevada, with a finale concert at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 22. This year's guest conductor for the Iowa Collegiate Honor Band is Dr. Myron Welch, professor emeritus at the University of Iowa.
