Skylar Finch from Polk City Honored at Buena Vista Unversity

Skylar Finch , a arts management major from Polk City , was honored at Buena Vista University's annual Student Recognition Dinner on April 29.

Finch received the following recognition:

Finch received an Academic Excellence Award as a first year student. This Academic Excellence Award is given to students on the Storm Lake campus whose cumulative GPA is 3.75 or greater, representing approximately the top 10% of each class.

Finch was awarded The Collier Student Study Travel Program. Every year at BVU students have amazing opportunities to complete internships that help prepare them for their careers, do significant research in their discipline and travel nationally and internationally. Many of our students awarded gift assistance to help assure they could pursue these opportunities. This support is made available through the generous contributions of alumni and friends.
