The iconic Canadian Brass ensemble brought an unforgettable performance to Buena Vista University on February 5. This concert was made possible through generous support from the Collier-Mack Liberal Arts Fund and the Keith & Virginia Pierce Endowed Music Fund. To make the evening even more memorable, the acclaimed brass quintet hosted a Q&A session for BVU students ahead of the concert.

The acclaimed British vocal ensemble The King's Singers captivated audiences at Buena Vista University on October 10 as part of the Doris Grau Performing Arts Series. Adding to the evening's magic, the BVU Vista Chamber Singers joined The King's Singers for a special encore performance. As part of the collaboration, the Vista Chamber Singers worked directly with the members of The King's Singers in an afternoon masterclass.

The SCJ awards were presented on May 3 in Anderson Auditorium along with the senior Digital Media capstones. The acclaimed vocal band Roomful of Teeth performed at Buena Vista University on Nov. 12 as part of the Doris Grau Performing Arts Series. In addition to Roomful of Teeth, BVU choral ensembles also performed at the concert.

The student panelists will participate in an on-campus question-and-answer program with the Apple Co-founder, Wozniak.

On Sept. 17, 2018, Buena Vista University students from the Student Chapter of Council for Exceptional Children (SCEC) organization traveled to the University of Iowa to interact and learn about the Iowa Center for Assistive Technology Education and Research (ICATER).
